Barry M Glitter Gelly

Barry M Glitter Gelly nail polishes are a new addition to the ‘Gelly’ range. These two new Gelly’s are exclusive to Superdrug.
Opposite to the usual creme finishes the new Gellys have glittery, or what I would call a glass-fleck finish.
The brushes of these Gelly’s are also new, short and flat. I really like flat brushes and it seems that more and more brands are dropping the thin brushes which I’m not complaining about at all.
Barry M Sparkling Ruby
Sparkling Ruby is a red polish full of golden glass fleck glitter. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
Barry M Sparkling Amethyst
Sparkling Amethyst is a dark purple polish full of flue and fuchsia glass fleck glitter. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
Overall both of the polishes were great to apply and dried relevantly fast. Sparkling Ruby was a little see-through with just two coats but good enough for me not to bother with third lol.
Barry M Glitter Gelly dupes
There were no exact dupes in my collection but I found few polishes that were quite similar.
Sparkling Ruby is quite similar with OPI Red Fingers & Mistletoes but a tone darker and has a more intense glass-fleck finish. Models Own Marquise Maroon is also a polish with some similarities but with a lot less glass-flecks in the finish.
Sparkling Amethyst is similar with Models Own Roxy but the tone of the purple is on the warmer side compared with the blueish Roxi.
