Kaleidoscope ‘Duo Magic Cats’ nail polish

Hello! Today I am trying out something new for myself – Kaleidoscope ‘Duo Magic Cats’ nail polish. To be honest duo-chrome magnetic nail polish is totally new for me. I don’t know how I have avoided this trend, but I sure am glad to be on the bandwagon now.

Kaleidoscope is a line by El Corazon brand. It’s a Russian indie? brand. I purchased the three polishes from their own website here. The cost was about £3.50 for the 9ml bottle of polish. In addition to the three duo cat polishes I also got the curved magnet, find it here.

Quality wise the polishes are rather sheer, it took 3 coats for them to be opaque. I suppose you always have the option to paint it over black which I think is a way to go for most of people. However, I rather liked the slightly softer look. I’ll post some photos below with and without a black base colour.

This is how the polish looks over black (2 coats). A lot more intense, but appears a bit less 3D in real life.

It looks really green is some angles!!

Now I am just sitting here admiring my nails and wondering where has magnetic polish this awesome been all my life. It is almost as awesome as holographic polish!! Now, I noticed that Kaleidoscope has already created some polishes mixing both, magnetic and holographic, but I have left these for my next shopping trip.

I hope you enjoyed the swatches :) xxx
