MeeBox April 2017

Hello! MeeBox April 2017 box landed on my doorstep last week. I have taken time today to show you all the swatches and some nail art using the contents of this lovely box.

MeeBox April 2017 review and swatches

First things first. Theme for April’s box was Soft Scoop and all the polishes inside matched the theme very well.

The box contained four nail polishes in total. Trust Fund Beauty – Do You Know Who My Father Is (how weird is this name af?!), iZ Beauty of London – Baby Blue, Models Own – Banana Split and Zoya Matte Velvet Top Coat. The matte top coat arrived broken :( I was well gutted!

There were also two nail art bits from Whats Up Nails, Neapolitan Confetti and Dripping Stencils.

All the polishes were fairly light and pastel colours. They mostly took about 2 – 3 cats to be fully opaque. See the application from the video below.

Trust Fund Beauty Do You Know Who My Father Is?

Do You Know Who My Father Is? is a creme baby pink polish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with top coat. Regardless of the odd name (unless I am just not getting it) the polish itself is beautiful, however, the formula was extremely thick, I struggled with the application a bit.

iZ Beauty of London Baby Blue

iZ Beauty of London Baby Blue is a light baby blue polish with creme finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with top coat. ts is a lovely little beauty. I have been wanting to try iZ Beauty polishes as I’ve seen some lovely swatches by my fellow bloggers. Application wise this polish was good to work with, but probably could have done with a third coat.

Ps… There was also a 20% off code in the box for iZ Beauty – it’s MEEBOX20.

Models Own Banana Split

Models Own Banana Split is a pastel yellow polish with creme finish. On the swatches I m wearing three coats of polish with top coat. I loove the banana smell of this polish! <3 Application wasn’t on the easy side and it took about three coats for it to be fully opaque, worth it tho!

I have created some nail art with both, Neapolitan Confetti and Dripping Stencils from Whats Up Nails, but I will leave the reviews for later in the week as I have a tutorial with each as well.
