Models Own Soft Pop HyperGel Collection is the latest collection from Models Own.

Models Own Soft Pop HyperGel Collection  review

It’s been a while since Models Own released a new collection of polishes, but this one sure was worth the wait. It consists of 5 creme pastel neon colours.

The first great thing about this collection is that the polishes come with lovely flat brushes making the application a joy. In addition, the formulas are smooth and the colours opaque in mostly two coats. The lighter shades took three coats, but only because I am a perfectionist. I would have left them in two coats if I was doing nail art over them as they were just very slightly patchy.

The drying time was on the slow side, especially when three coats applied and therefore fast dry top coat is recommended.

Models Own Lilac Flush

A bright lavender lilac polish with creme finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with top coat.

Models Own Lemon Popsicle

Lemon Popsicle is a light pastel neon yellow polish with creme finish. On the swatches I am wearing three coats with top coat. Almostgot away with two coats but the finish was just slightly patchy and therefore I added a third coat. Gorgeous polish overall.

Models Own Sugar Rush

Sugar Rush is a pastel blue polish with creme finish.  On the swatches I am wearing two coats with top coat. Perfect finish with just two coats!

Candyfloss is a warm light pink polish with creme finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with top coat. Another perfect polish with excellent coverage!

Models Own Cozy Posy

Cozy Pozy is a pastle neon green polish with creme finish.  On the swatches I am wearing three coats with top coat. Again, almost opaque with two, but just slightly patchy, hence I added a third coat.

Overall these are just perfect polishes to join the HyperGel family (see other swatches here). I think there was a gap in the market for high street pastel neon polishes and Models Own has just filled that gap with a very affordable collection of polishes with beautiful colours and decent formulas.

These polishes are available in all Modles Own Bottleshops and online at modelsownit.com.

I noticed that my local Bottleshop (in Metrocentre) had a ‘buy 6 for £20’ deal going on which would make this collection a total bargain!

Oh, and by the way- they watermarble perfectly!

They stamp too, but the lighter colours look very light.

And here’s how they look compared to other Models Own polishes:

I’m liking the look of Sugar rush. I’m guessing no white base is required with these lovelies? Thank you for sharing :)

Wow I love these, all the colours look so beautiful. I’m not sure why they don’t have the typical Hypergels lids though. Things like that bother me & my weird OCD xx

I love them too, they are so beautiful, haha I didn't even notice that about the lids- the lid top still has the hypergel icon, but yeah you are right, the usual hypergel sticker over the cap is missing!
