Ozotic 520 is another polish from my vintage nail polish stash. It is quite similar to Sally Hansen Amber Ruby (swatch here) that was featured last in my vintage polish blog feature.
There has been a huge gap since I last featured a vintage polish but I will try to do it more often now, nice I have quite a few :)
Ozotic 520 is a multi chrome polish shifting from red to amber, orange and gold. On the swatches I am wearing three coats with top coat. Considering the age of the polish it was very easy to apply, formula is still in perfect condition. It’s not the most opaque of polishes, I can still notice some visible nail line even after three coats.
Ozotic 520 is from around 2011ish and it was continued in 2012 (source). Ozotic is an Australian indie nail polish brand and my knowledge about is rather limited. I think Picture Polish used to make Ozotic and some of the shades that Picture Polish made were same as the Ozotic shades. This is something I can kind of remember back when I got into nail polish. I love the name Ozotic for a brand, makes it very interesting.
Well that sure was an oldie but a beauty :) Thanks for reading xx
