Turquoise stone nail art

By on October 17, 2015 in Nail Art

I’ll show you what nail art I have been wearing the past week :) It’s called turquoise stone nail art, pretty sure it’s not my first time to wear something like that… and I just found my last turquoise stone nail art here (from year and a half ago!).

As a base I am wearing the most bright mint in my collection, KIKO Milk Mint (swatches here).

For the marbled parts I used Cirque Colors Memento Mori and Models Own 25 Carat Gold. To get them marble like that I used water and rubbing alcohol. It was a bit difficult as I’ve lost my little spray. You have to spray the rubbing alcohol into the fresh polish layer that was dropped on the water. Due to that the marble effect isn’t as neat as in my last version but still rather unique and pretty.

As a matter of fact I wore these nails from Sunday last week to Friday this week. That is probably the longest I have worn one colour in a while! Not sure if it meant I really loved the design or I just had a busy weekhaha.

Thanks for reading!
