Hello and happy November! Firstly, I can’t believe that it is November already. Anyhow, not long ago I popped in my local Poundland and found a lot of Sinful Colors duo packs for sale. There were some very pretty colours there. So, I found it very hard to only settle with only one pack – Sinful Colors Devious and Devils Stare.
Sinful Colors Devious and Devils Stare review
Devious is a deep red opaque polish with creme finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats on my index and pinky fingers.
The formula of this red polish applied beautifully and it was perfectly opaque.
Devils Stare is a red (which heavily leans on the orange side) jelly polish full of iridescent small round glitters and different shaped shard glitters with the same effect. On the swatches I am wearing two coats on my middle and ring fingers.
Regardless of the unique glitters of the polish, it applied very well. The glitter spread was perfect, however, it took three coats to achieve the perfect level of opaqueness.
I was actually quite amazed by this polish. It’s quite mesmerising indeed.
It was a little hard to capture, especially when applied next to a red polish. I would say the macro photo below is the most colour accurate (at least on my computer screen!).
To conclude, I think the two polishes really compliment each other. And what a bragain to get the two for just a pound!
