The Lacquer Lab Naked Ladies Collection

By on April 23, 2014 in Press Sample , Reviews , Swatches

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I have four polishes from The Lacquer Lab Naked Ladies collection to show you. Naked Ladies collection consists of six nude toned creme and shimmer polishes inspired by iconic naked ladies.

The Lacquer Lab Nude Maja

Nude Maja is a grey’ish beige nail polish with creme finish. This polish was very opaque, I used two coats and there was no visible nail line. The formula was easy to work with and the brush was great. The drying time was medium and it dried into a beautiful glossy finish, on the swatches I am not wearing top coat.

The Lacquer Lab Dita

Dita is a nude polish with creme finish. As Nude Maja, the polish was very opaque and easy to apply. I’d call this one ‘the perfect nude’ because it matched my skin tone perfectly. On the swatches I am not wearing any top coat.

The Lacquer Lab Kleopatra

Kleopatra is a coffee nude polish with creme finish. Kleopatra is just few tones darker than Dita. I am wearing two coats of polish on the swatches with no top coat. The application was same as the above two.

The Lacquer Lab Venus

Venus is a brownish nude polish with a strong blue shimmer finish. Venus is very different from the above three- it is sheer, shimmer and totally not your usual nude polish :D On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat. I’d say this polish has a very unique look. The look of this polish reminds me of the famous painting by Sandro Botticelli called The Birth of Venus actually. Would you agree?

Overall a great selection of traditional nude polishes with some uniqueness thrown in the mix. You can purchase The Naked Ladies Collection via The Lacquer Lab website. Each polish retails for £7.00 or you can buy the whole collection of 6 for £35.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed The Lacquer Lab Naked Ladies Collection swatches! xoxox
