Hello! Continuing on the vintage nail polish theme this week, I have another beauty to show you. Hard Candy Jubilee isn’t the oldest of polishes, however, the nail polish line has long has been discontinued. Hard Candy is still around, but doesn’t appear to be known around the nail polish world. Back in the 90’s and 00’s Hard Candy was HUGE.
Hard Candy Jubilee review
Jubilee is a green jelly polish full of tiny black hexagon glitters, large black and silver hexagon glitters and long silver bar glitters. It is a colour and glitter combination I would usually not go for. However, more recently, green and overall ugly-ish polishes seem so appealing to me. And I love it!
On the swatches I am wearing three coats of polish with one layer of fast dry top coat. Application of this polish was easy and the glitter spread was excellent. Due to the large glitters, I wouldn’t wear this polish without a layer of top coat. It really makes it look smooth.
Anyhow, I really like this polish. It’s funny how my taste in nail polish has changed since when i first started writing a blog. I used to pretty much only love pink so, so much. To be fair, I still really love pink, but I feel like I really love other colours as well haha.
