Lacquerlove August 2014 subscription box was themed Festival Chic and contained So Susan polishes in Orange Glow, Strawberry, Rock & Roll and Bangles. The free gift was Jelly Bong Bong Blush and Contour.
So Susan Orange Glow
Orange Glow is an orange polish with creme finish. It’s quite bright orange but not totally neon. On the swatches I am wearing two coats of polish with no top coat.
So Susan Strawberry
Strawberry is a (more raspberry than strawberry) red sheer polish with creme/jelly finish. On the swatches I am wearing three coats of polish with no top coat.
So Susan Rock & Roll
Rock & Roll is a bronze coloured polish with shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
So Susan Bangles
Bangles is a dark purple polish full of shimmer and duo chrome flakes. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with top coat.
Jelly Bong Bong Blush and Contour
Overall all the polishes were beautiful and had great formulas. Bangles was the only one that I top coated due to the glitter and flake combo being a bit bumpy. Overall I really loved it, anything with such gorgeous flakes like Bangles is my cup of tea lol or shall I say my bottle of polish!?! In addition I really loved Rock & Roll, so perfect for autumn!
