Hello and happy weekend! Tonight I am showing you the very new Models Own Disco Pants collection. It was released just earlier today so these polishes are still oven warm!
Models Own Disco Pants collection consists of five shimmer polishes. All the polishes are named after famous New York nightclubs.
Models Own Studio 54
Studio 54 is a bright pink polish with shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
The application of this polish was smooth and the finish very beautiful.
Pink = instant love! <3
Models Own Roxy
Roxy is a dark purple polish with sparkly shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing three coats with no top coat.
The shimmer in Roxy is so gorgeous, a mixture of blue, purple and fuchsia flakes.
Models Own Paradise Garage
Paradise Garage is an emerald green polish with shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
Paradise Garage was so opaque that you could get away with only one coat but I applied two for perfection.
This polish is the most gorgeous emerald green I have seen in a while! In real life it’s not as blue tinted as it looks on the photos (I was having a bit of a bad camera day with this one lol).
The finish was slightly slightly brush streaky but I still loved it a lot.
Models Own Copacabana
Copacabana is a natural white gold colour polish with shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
I love the gold-and-silver-at-the-same-time colour but the finish was a bit too brush streaky for me.
Models Own Sound Factory
Sound Factory is a sapphire blue polish with glass fleck shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing three coats with no top coat.
The formula and application was perfect.
This polish has a beautiful colour and finish but unfortunately it’s a stainer (like most of the blue toned polishes I’ve been wearing recently lol).
Overall Models Own Disco Pants collection is an awesome collection full of some beautiful shimmer polishes. I especially like how there is some variety between the shimmer finishes.
I think the most beautiful polish from the collection was Roxy followed closely by the gorgeous Paradise Garage which will get a lot of use closer to Christmas I think.
Disco Pants collection will launch online at http://modelsownit.com/ on Friday, October 17th, in all UK Bottleshops on Saturday, October 18th and in Superdrug stores nationwide from Wednesday, October 22nd. They will be priced £4.99 each.
