Hello! Models Own Spring HyperGel nail polishes were announced earlier this week. Tonight I am showing you five shades from the collection of ten.
Models Own Spring HyperGel nail polishes
Overall all the polishes have very similar self levelling formulas, they take about 2 – 3 coats to be fully opaque. Drying time depends on the amount of coats used, when 3 then a fast drying top coat is highly recommended.
Models Own Long Beach Peach
Long Beach Peach is a light orange polish with creme finish. On the swatches I am wearing three coats with no top coat.
This beauty is my most favourite of the whole collection, a fantastic pastel peach colour. I rate it about 7, I love the colour but wish it wouldn’t need three coats to be fully opaque.
Models Own Paradise Pink
Paradise Pink is a light pink creme polish with cold undertones. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
Another gorgeous pastel with flawless finish. 10 out of 10 :)
Models Own Powder Blue
Powder Blue is a light baby blue polish with creme finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
Powder Blue gets a rating of 10, it applied well and only took 2 coats to be fully opaque hence also dried faster. It’s just so… perfect.
Models Own Tropical Green
Tropical Green is a bright green polish with crelly finish. On the swatches I am wearing three coats with no top coat.
It’s quite bright green but not as bright as it appears on the photos. The finish is slightly different, more jelly-like than the above three giving it a slightly visible nail line after three coats. Overall I’m giving this green baby a 5.
Models Own Purple Orchid
Purple Orcid is a purple polish with crelly finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
The finish of this polish is slightly more matte than the rest and the formula more crelly than the first three. Now looking at the photos the coverage looks still a bit patchy and I think I should have used three coats. I rate it 3.
Any dupe alerts?
Naah not really… Powder Blue and Blueberry Muffin are very similar but sliiiighlty different shade blue.
