Bees Knees Lacquer Protection

Hello and Happy New Year’s Eve! I am sure we are all desperate to start 2021 as 2020 has been a disappointing year for most of us. I am hoping that 2021 will bring us the happiness we, as a humanity, deserve. My new years resolution is to do what’s in my power to bring joy to other people and also be more kind, not only towards others, but also myself. Anyhow, I have a lovely polish to show you today. It’s called Bees Knees Lacquer Protection.

Bees Knees Lacquer Protection review

Protection is from a collection which was inspired by the very popular show (and a book?) called Lovecraft Country. I have seen the show and it was good. Not going to give you any spoilers, but I was really loving the first half of the show, but then somehow lost interest… However, the original unicorn pee pigment (UP in short) is something I will never lose interest in. Therefore, here’s another beauty full of it! I really wish I could have been able to afford the full collection, but only had to pick my most favourite from the lot this time.

Protection is a bright purple jelly polish full of unicorn pigment. The description of it may imply that it is a dupe of many extremely popular UP polishes such as Clarins 230 or Cirque Colors Coronation… but it is not. The purple is a lot more magenta shade in this one. Unfortunately the UP effect a little less evident as well (especially the duo-chrome shades). It is still very sparkly tho!

I got this beauty form Rainbow Connection here.
