Hello, I hope you all had a great weekend. I sure had another busy one, did some volunteering on Saturday and had a lovely day in town today with the number one man in my life. I didn’t feel like doing much nail art today so decided to show you my best black nail polish.
I have been using W7- Black for a few weeks now and it is definitely the best black in my collection at the moment. The other blacks I have are Barry M- Black and L.A. Colors- Black Velvet. The Barry M one is pretty useless for nail art but it is okay for just black nails. L.A. Colors Black Velvet is decent for nail art and I have been using this for months actually.
W7- Black is really thick and opaque polish. I used 2 coats on my photos but you’d probably get away with just 1 thick coat too. It dries fast and lives a lovely glossy finish (no topcoat on my ring finger). There are few downsides with this polish too. Firstly, it smells bad and I have mentioned that I hate stinky polishes. Secondly, being all thick it dries super fast so you have to be really fast with your nail art or it starts leaving little strings (or you just have to keep adding more polish from the bottle more often).
I got the W7- Black from Fragrance Direct for just £1.50 which is a great bargain. The gray polish is Sally Hansen Salon Manicure- Pumice which I got from the good old Poundland today. It is a lovely color but quite sheer, I had to use 3 coats for opaque finish.
