Hello and happy Thursday! I’ve taken a tiny break from swatching my OPI polishes because I have acquired some other lovely (vintage) polishes I want to show you. Today I have Chanel Samba to show you. This doesn’t mean that I am done swatching the OPI’s tho!
Samba is a vintage Chanel nail polish. It is number 14, demonstrating that it is from one of the earlier releases. I can’t tell you the exact age, but I know Chanel’s Rouge Noir was released in 1995 and it is number 18. So, I’m guessing that number 14 would have been released around a year or two before.
Samba is a very warm gold nail polish with a metallic finish. There is a little duo chrome effect in the finish of this polish, pinkish orange colour. On the swatches I am wearing three coats of polish with top coat.
I usually really like gold anyway, but this one is just so beautiful and timeless! What do you think?
