Kleancolor nail polish review

Hello! I have swatched two of my favourite Kleancolour nail polish here and here over the past week. However, I have four more polishes from the same brand. Instead of posting them separately, I decided to put the all to one post. Overall, I have pretty similar things to say about them anyway (and not all positive to be honest!)

Kleancolor Blind Date

Blind Date is a chunky glitter nail polish full of metallic and holographic stars in clear base.

Most importantly, when I received the polish, I thought it was full of stars and some silver leaf bits (you know, like the gold leaf polishes). But no! When I actually ended up applying the polish, I realised that the bits of ‘silver leaf’ were actually parts of the silver stars. These stars clearly were not solvent resilient and therefore the silver has come off the stairs. Whereas one could get away with the ‘leafy’ look, the completely clear stars really bothered me (see if you can notice them one the swatches!).

On the swatches I am wearing one coat of polish on top of OPI Zuzy Nails New Orleans with no top coat.

Kleancolor Twinkly Love

Twinkly Love is a glitter nail polish full of metallic and holographic hearts in clear base.

As doe the above issues, Twinkly Love suffers from the same case of having silver glitters which are not solvent resistant.

On the swatches I am wearing one coat of polish on top of OPI Zuzy Nails New Orleans with no top coat.

Kleancolor Holo Pink

Holo pink is a pink nail polish full of holographic glitter. It’s a little textured on application due to the tensity of the glitter.

Most importantly, I am pleased to see that a polish containing ‘Holo’ in the name actually contains holographic glitter. What a treat!

On the swatches I am wearing two coats of polish with no top coat.

Kleancolor Chunky Holo Fuchsia

Aaand we’re back to calling non holographic polishes holo. Anyway, Chunky Holo Fuchsia is a fuchsia pink (but looks red in posstle) jelly polish full of duo-chrome glitter.

It’s really pretty! Firstly, I like it because the base is tinted enough to be worn without a base colour. I would say that if you have Chunky Holo Bluebell, you really wouldn’t need this one as thy look pretty much the same. The only difference is that Chunky Holo Fuchsia’s base is more tinted.

On the swatches I am wearing two coats of polish with no top coat.

Nail Lacquer UK rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Ok, that’s me done with Kleancolour now for a while. Thanks for reading!
