It is with great sadness I am reviewing this month’s Lacquerlove box as it is the very last box of the subscription :( I am so sad as the boxes have been so great, shame that they are discontinuing :( You can see all the other boxes I’ve reviewed in the past here.
The box is themed ‘New Beginnings’ and consists polishes in Dream, Resolution, Hope and Faith. The free gift was Dual Brow Powder. You can order the box here for £14.95.
So Susan Faith
Dream is a vibrant molten polish with orange glass fleck shimmer. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat. The polish applied well and looked as vibrant on the nails as it looks on the photos. Amazing! 10 out of 10 ;)
So Susan Resolution
Resolution is a light yellow-green polish with creme finish. On the swatches I am wearing three coats with no top coat. The application of this polish was slightly streaky but it seemed to self level before drying and the final look was beautiful. Nice polish but not 100% perfect, it gets 6 out of 10.
Also here’s the pastel galaxy nail art I created using two polishes from the box. You can find the tutorial on my Instagram profile.
So Susan Hope
Hope is a bright sky blue polish with creme finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat. The application was great and so was the drying time. I have been after a bright blue polish like this one for a while, and I am so happy with it. It gets 11 out of 10!
So Susan Dream
Dream is a sheer beige colour polish with shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat. The application was smooth but they finish quite brush-strokey. I am not the biggest fan of this one so I rate it about 3ish.
So Susan Dual Brow Powder
Thanks for reading my Lacquerlove January 2015 swatches! xxx
