Lacquerlove July 2014
Lacquerlove July box was themed Jet Set and contained polishes in Sunset, Orange Bellini, Hot Sand and Summer Breeze. The free gift was mineral foundation powder by Jelly Pong Pong in Fair.
So Susan Sunset
Sunset is a coral red nail polish with rubbery matte finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats of polish with no top coat.
So Susan Orange Bellini
Orange Bellini is a orange nail polish with rubbery matte finish. On the swatches I am wearing three coats of polish with no top coat.
So Susan Hot Sand
Hot Sand is a beige/nude polish with shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats of polish with no top coat. Look how glossy it is without a topcoat!
I thought this sand coloured summer polish was actually quite appropriate for the autumn season too and decided to top it up with one of the most popular autumn nail art designs- half moons.
For the half moons I used reinforcement rings (I got mine from here). In addition to Hot Sand I used So Susan polish in Summer Breeze (swatches below) and a glossy top coat to finish the look.

So Susan Summer Breeze
Summer Breeze is a dark blue polish with rubbery matte finish. See how it looks without a top coat on the swatches below.
And finally a swatch of the mineral foundation powder by Jelly Pong Pong.
