Hello! As mentioned in my last post, I have swatched a vintage polish that is almost a dupe for the original Essie Starry Starry Night. It is one of the most known and sought after cult vintage polishes. The polish is Maybelline Twinkle Twinkle. Unfortunately, I can’t compare how good of a dupe it is. I don’t have Starry Starry Night, and I will likely not own it any time soon (*cry*).
Anyway, Maybelline Express Finish Twinkle Twinkle seems to be a fairly decent dupe. It is a dark blue polish full of small silver metallic glitter. There is a tinge of pearl pigment in the finish and this is what makes it slightly different form Starry Starry Night. The latter looking pure jelly in the swatches.
Twinkle Twinkle itself is a vintage nail polish as well. I can’t tell you the exact age of this particular polish, but I would want to say end of 1990’s or early 00’s.
Isn’t this just a beautiful little polish? Nothing unrepeated, but still very beautiful in it’s own right.
