Hey lovelies, almost weekend yayy!!! As I warned you in my holiday haul post, I am here with some first time one stroke flowers. I have tried one stroke flowers before but have never been successful. It was pretty much a fail today too. I mean, yes- the flowers look pretty but they do not look like one stroke flowers :( I think I need to practice a lot more, maybe even watch some youtube videos. I followed this tutorial today.
I started off with OPI Alpine Snow as a base. I then added the one stroke flowers using my new Mosaic one-stroke brush kit. There are six slightly different brushes in the kit, I played around with about four today. I found that my flowers did not look the way they were meant to at all :P I mean, I could of done the same look with a normal brush :P It took me a while to start “feeling” the brush, I only managed to do about two one stroke looking leafs on my ring finger and zero flowers.
I topped it all up with GlamLac Dry Me Fast top coat. I didn’t bother doing my right hand as I am planning to spend the rest of the night practising different designs, we will see what I come up with :P
