OPI Swatch Marathon Part 8

Hello! My OPI Swatch Marathon continues now that we are in November. I’m conscious that this is going to take a while to finish. But, we’re in no hurry anyway, are we? Today I am showing you the polishes I have that were released in 2003.

Firstly, I have two delicate polishes from OPI’s spring 2002 Sheer Romance collection (aka Soft Shades collection) to show you. The original collection consisted of 16 polishes (source)!

OPI Pillow Talk

Pillow Talk is a light vintage white polish with a creme finish. The formula of this polish really isn’t doing too great, opposite to the many old polishes I own. It is full of some sand-like dark bits and some white parts that look like dried up polish. Also, it was initially very patchy, but applying three coats really worked wonders.

OPI Sweet Heart

Now, Sweet Heart looks pretty much identical to Pillow Talk on the nails, but seems to be more beige shade of nude in the bottle. The formula of this polish was flawless. It did take three coats to achieve this level of opacity however.

OPI Can’t a Berry Have Some Fun

Can’t a Berry Have Some Fun was released in autumn 2002 as part of the European Collection. I only have two polishes form this old collection, and they both have the most perfect autumn colour scheme. You can see my second polish, called Euro-mazing! here.

Can’t a Berry Have Some Fun is a deep red plum polish with a shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.

That’s me done with the OPI polishes from 2002. Until next time!
