Hello! Just a quick post today to show you Maybelline Turquoise Green nail polish. It’s a polish I swatched some time ago (hence shorter nails compared to my last posts).
I bought this polish online on eBay, but I am sure I have seen this line in bigger shops as well. It was less than £3 delivered which I think is a bargain. I actually got it to compare it to one of my all time favourite vintage polishes, Maybelline Aqua (see swatches here). I can confirm that these two are definitely not dupes. To be fair, Turquoise Green is very much different. It doesn’t come with a vibrant duo chrome effect. Regardless, it is a beautiful shade turquoise blue and it is opaque on it’s own.
On the swatches I am wearing three coats with a layer of top coat.
Overall I think this is a gorgeous high street nail polish. The colour and the price are hard to resist lol. I can imagine looking back at it in ten years thinking that they did nice polishes back then!
