Hello and happy Thursday! Today I am showing you a polish that I picked up from TK Maxx back in December. The polish is from the Color Blast range and has a little bit of a uncreative name Orly Black Holo Chunky Glitter.
Orly Black Holo Chunky Glitter is a dark polish full of holographic bar glitter and small black hexagon glitter.
I was drawn to the polish in the shop because it looked quite unique with the holographic glitters in an almost black base. I was very disappointed when I swatched the polish however as the dark base is more sheer than anticipated. To be honest, it looks basically clear on the nails. On the swatches I am wearing three coats with no top coat.
Whereas I was disappointed by the base of the polish, the holographic bar glitter definitely was not a disappointment. The glitter us very, very holographic and vibrant. Next time I would apply it over a dark or any other opaque base… I am not sure if there will be a next time however haha.
