Hello! Finally I have time to post my Essence nail polish review. I swatched these few weeks ago already but have been busy posting other stuff and almost forgot about these babies.
Essence nail polish review
As I have mentioned in some of my other posts (here and here) Wilkinsons now sells Essence nail polishes. Polishes retail from £1.60 each which is a rather budget friendly price. They also have a 3 for 2 offer going on at the moment which makes them even more budget friendly.
The polishes come with a really nice flat brush and are easy to apply but tend to dry slow so fast dry top coat is strongly recommended.
Essence Hello Rosty (182)
Hello Rosty is a dark pink polish with red glitter and textured finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats without top coat. Usually textured polishes dry quite fast but this one did not. The texture of this polish is quite rough, not my cup of tea if I am totally honest. I am not too keen on textures these days anyway and would have not purchased it if I had noticed in the shop.
On the swatch below I am wearing it with top coat. Even with top coat it still looks quite textured.
Essence Give Me Nude, Baby! (152)
Give Me Nude, Baby…. the comma in this name has a very important job lol. It’s a very sheer white polish with subtle golden shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing three coats with no top coat. It’s super sheer even with three coats but I quite like it, so delicate.
Essence That’s What I Mint! (146)
That’s What I Mint! is a light blue polish with extremely subtle shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat. Nice and opaque finish and beautiful colour.
Essence Galactic Glam (171)
Galactic Glam is a dark teal polish with strong flaky shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
Essence Hint Of Love (169)
Hint Of Love is a red polish with golden flaky shimmer finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat.
To conclude, these polishes are nice budget friendly polishes. They come with a great brush and apply well but dry slow.
Thanks for reading my Essence nail polish review xxx
